How to choose a 10L oxygen concentrator for export
A short B2B checklist for distributors and importers comparing 10 L/min units for wholesale or OEM. Focus on voltage, plug, and oxygen purity at maximum flow—not brochure headlines alone.
1) Voltage and frequency
- Confirm destination mains: commonly 220–240 V / 50 Hz (many GCC markets) or 110–120 V / 60 Hz.
- Ask the supplier to state rated voltage/frequency on the nameplate and in the packing list.
- For mixed markets, request dual-voltage only if the model truly supports it—do not assume a switch exists.
2) Plug and cable
- Saudi Arabia and UAE commonly use Type G plugs; confirm before production or relabel kits.
- Order region-matched power cords or adapters as a line item so warehouse stock is ready to ship.
- Keep spare cord SKUs separate from the concentrator SKU for clearer inventory.
3) Purity at max flow (not only “10L”)
- Request the stated oxygen concentration at the maximum continuous flow (e.g., at 10 L/min), plus test method or factory QC sheet format.
- Compare units using the same flow point; a strong reading at low flow can drop at max flow.
- Ask for sample QC records and how incoming inspection should verify purity on arrival.
4) Documents and labeling for import
- Align on commercial invoice, packing list, and any device registration or conformity documents your market requires.
- Confirm language on labels/IFU and whether OEM logo / private-label artwork is allowed.
- Clarify warranty terms, spare filters, and after-sales contact before first PO.
